Are poly or wood shutters appropriate for bathrooms? This is a great question that we are frequently asked. The answer is that both types of shutters can be used in bathrooms. Wood shutters will work in almost all bathroom scenarios. The exception is for shutters that are directly inside a shower, where they will be consistently sprayed with water. This is where we would recommend a poly shutter. Due to our manufacturing and finishing process, shutters in both materials will offer a durable, low-maintenance, and beautiful solution for your bathroom windows. We have included some photos below of shutters we have designed and installed in homes. Call us to discuss which type will work best in your home.
