We just completed Aluminum shutters in an ultra chic, one of a kind architect designed home in Seattle. The shutters are a striking complement to the glass tiles, Puget sound views, and sleek design of this bathroom. A respected Seattle builder constructed an inviting outdoor entertaining area, but the client needed some privacy from the neighbors. To accommodate this request, we constructed 1-1/2" thick exterior western red cedar shutters which complemented the outdoor area.
Hotel Monaco chose Newport Custom Shutters to shutter their hotel. After a client consultation, we decided it would be a great idea to replace the existing small louvered shutters with a larger more contemporary louver size to highlight the spectacular city views of downtown Seattle. The shutters enhance the modern chic vibe of the recently redesigned hotel. It was a pleasure to be a part of this project. Please view the photos below!
Our latest project was just completed for a Cape Cod style home on Bainbridge Island. We crafted exterior shutters with a flat panel and beaded stiles. Shutters were made out of weather resistant Western red cedar, painted a custom color, and included copper capping. These shutters were only crafted after consulting with the client and making some samples to ensure we had the design exactly as the owner's had envisioned. Below are the before and after photos.
